Puzzle #7: My Condolences

 


Hi! New updates on the blog today. First of all, I was in Just One Clue 3 this year! I'm right in the middle of the puzzle (65-Down). It released at the ACPT, but I forgot to announce on the blog. Second, I'm going to start putting title cards on the PuzzleMe applets so it doesn't automatically start when you open the page. The puzzle today is a bit of an odd one. I couldn't get the theme answers nicely in one open grid where they weren't too far apart, so they all get their own sections. The top and bottom sections were the first I thought of. I then expanded the puzzle with the other two. 

Favorite Clues/Answers: 32-Across, 1-Down, 38-Down

There's a lot of extra things related to the theme, including the shape of the grid! I've provided two versions: an easier one and a slightly harder one with more theme-related things.
